These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MemoTilt (the "Game"), operated by MemoTilt ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Game, you agree to these Terms.

Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
One account per person. Do not create multiple accounts to circumvent daily play limits or manipulate leaderboards.
You may not impersonate another person or use a display name that is offensive, misleading, or infringes on someone else's identity.

Acceptable Use

When using MemoTilt, you agree not to:

Cheat, exploit bugs, or manipulate scores, streaks, or the leaderboard system

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or to our systems
Reverse engineer, scrape, or extract game content for redistribution

We use automated abuse-detection systems and reserve the right to investigate accounts that trigger unusual activity.

Content Ownership

All game content - including puzzles, word banks, game modes, and design - is owned by MemoTilt. Your use of the Game does not grant you any ownership rights to this content. Your account data (display name, scores, friend connections) remains associated with you and is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion. You may delete your own account at any time from your account settings; doing so permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer of Warranties

MemoTilt is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs. Daily puzzles, streaks, and scores are provided for entertainment purposes only.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MemoTilt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, MemoTilt - including but not limited to loss of data, loss of progress, or loss of account access.

Changes to the Game or These Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of ME at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date above.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Illinois, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
